Waiting for my prince in this white wedding dress,
As this is the day I'd become his princess.
My heart was racing as I thought of his smile,
feeling so anxious to walk down the isle.
Waited patiently til' guests left the place,
Only to realise I'd never see his face.
I sat and pondered on why he never came,
I guess it's only me I can really blame.
My man, my love, my prince and my dear,
You've caused a day every woman would fear.
I'll just lay here waiting for you while I weep,
And wish I'd never wake up from this sleep.
